Yoghurt Marinated Pork Kebabs – Sybaritica
This Yoghurt Marinated Pork Kebab recipe is delicious and makes a nice little appetizer, or a great accompaniment for rice as a main meal.
- 1 ½ lbs. lean pork cut into medium cubes
- 1 ½ tbsp. Fresh Turmeric paste
- 4 tbsp. Yoghurt
- ½ tsp. Paprika
- 1 tsp. Dried parsley flakes
- Pinch salt
- Put the meat in a bowl and rub the salt into the pieces.
- Add one half of the Turmeric paste to the meat, rub this in as well, and let the mix sit for a good 30 minutes or so.
- Add the yoghurt, the paprika and parsley, and the remaining turmeric and mix well. Allow it all to marinate for at least two hours or overnight.
- Thread the meat cubes onto skewers and reserves any remaining marinade for basting.
- Grill at medium heat, turning when needed and basting with the remaining marinade, until the pork is cooked all the way through and nicely browned.
- Allow to rest for 5 minutes or so and then plate and serve.
