What Gives???? – Sybaritica

Blogs come and go…  One gets used to that idea and just mourns the dead ones that were good while forgetting the ones that were merely, well… how shall I say… just fillers….

Recently, however, I slowly began to notice that I wasn’t getting notifications of new posts on the blogs I usually follow. It took a while to make the connection because, as I say, blogs come and go (and bloggers sometimes take ‘vacations) ’, but, after a noticeable dearth of new post notifications, I began to get concerned.

I always used to get regular e-mail notices of new posts from One Man’s Meat and Stefan’s Gourmet Blog (to name just two excellent foodie blogs) but lately they seemed to have fallen silent. After checking, however, I discovered that said blogs are still in regular publication and, as I thought to confirm, I am still subscribed.

So… what gives?

I still get notifications from some blogs (and even then, just periodically) but otherwise I have been ‘in the dark’ lately. Has anyone else been experiencing similar issues?
